I have an interview next week at a surf/skate clothing shop and I don't know what to wear at the interview. For guys it's a lot easier because they can just wear jeans and a skate shirt but as a girl, I have no idea what to wear. All suggestions will help! I have a group interview for the shop "City Beach" and I would just like to know what to wear - if it should be formal, casual/formal, casual. I'm not sure because it's pretty much a casual clothing store and the dress code for the interview for example, would definitely be different to Myer or David Jones. I'm going to Hawaii in 1 week and want to take a surf lesson. I've never surfed in my life! Just wondering, should I buy some surf clothes to wear BEFORE i go to hawaii, or do they provide attire during these lesson? (of course I have a bathing suit, but I'm assuming I need one of those surf shifts or board shorts?) I'm a girl by the way:) Any help? You could wear different things while surfing. Since it is your first time and you will be taking lessons then the instructor may provided you with a wet suit. If he does not I would recommend wear board shorts/bikini bottom (normal bating suit trunks/bikini bottom should be fine on your first time surfing). But I do recommend getting a rash guard because when you are learning the Pop-up in surfing you can get a rash from rubbing your upper body along the board in attempts to stand up (you can buy a rash guard almost at any surf shop or beach supplier store). If it is only your first time surfing don't go and invest in a wet suit of your own right away wait till after your lesson to see how much you enjoy surfing ( they can be expensive) all so take into account how often you will be going surfing (there is no need to buy an expensive wet suit if you will not be surfing too often). srfer | Read more |
